Old Timers’ Day Classic Car Show & Family Festival returns to Selbyville
The 69th Annual Old Timers’ Day Classic Car Show & Family Festival is slated to return to Selbyville, Delaware on Saturday, June 20th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event is hosted by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Selbyville and presented by the Bunting & Murray Construction Corporation.
Classic car owners and festivalgoers are invited to travel back in time as vehicles from decades as far back as the 1910’s fill Church Street. Enjoy tunes from BKH Entertainment, food vendors, children’s activities, an outdoor beer garden sponsored by Banks Wines & Spirits, live music sponsored by Mountaire Farms, a watermelon eating contest, and a historic walking tour through downtown Selbyville.
“The Chamber is proud to host the 69th Old Timers Day Classic Car Show and Family Festival,” says Chamber Executive Director Lauren Weaver. “It is a cherished tradition that brings together generations of our community. This event celebrates not only the craftsmanship and history of classic cars, but also the spirit of connection, family, and local pride that makes the town so special. We look forward to welcoming visitors, enthusiasts, and families for a day filled with nostalgia, fun, and lasting memories.”
Vehicle entry into the car show is $10, and the first 100 registrants receive a commemorative gift. Awards are given to the Top 25 Winners with cash prizes awarded to Best Overall Winner and the Oldest of the Old Timers. The festival is open to the public and free to attend. Event beneficiaries include Selbyville Public Library, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company, Delaware Hospice and several other on-site groups.
