Melissa’s Dinner & Lounge celebrated a grand reopening with a ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce on October 29, 2026. Staff, community, and Chamber members joined to help celebrate.

Opened initially in July 2022 by local restauranteur Melissa Hekl, the original location underwent complete reconstruction before reopening in August 2026. Hekl is also now at the helm of Flavor and Good Earth Market, which has been an Ocean View staple for over 20 years. Melissa’s new space sets the scene for their updated menu, which includes charcuterie, seafood, local produce, and a full bar offering handcrafted cocktails.
