Building Sussex for All

Sussex County runs on people who serve others – teachers, nurses, restaurant staff, childcare providers and first responders.  Yet many of these essential workers can no longer afford to live in the communities they sustain.

To change that, local leaders are launching Home Sweet Workforce: Building Sussex for All, a countywide awareness campaign to rally support, funding and policy momentum for attainable housing.

When workers can’t live near their jobs, everyone feels the strain.  This campaign invites businesses, residents and civic partners to help make Sussex a place where every worker has a place to call home.
