BETHANY BEACH, DE. (January 13, 2025) – This recent holiday season, Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn hosted their annual Tours and Toys Open House to benefit the area’s local chapter of Toys for Tots. Details for the event can be found below.

Entry was the donation of a children’s toy valued at $10 or more and included:

Raffles with the proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots

 

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas.  Through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s economically disadvantaged children. The local chapter can be reached via email at [email protected]

 

“We are thankful for the great partnership with Addy Sea. Their support provided enough Toys to help 70 children! We look forward to continuing to partner with them for years to come,” said Toys for Tots Coordinator, Sharon Ruest.

“We collected close to $500 for the cause and were informed by Sharon Ruest that Toys for Tots was able to collect 217 toys from our gracious event attendees. This event is such a joy to put on each year and we love that we can help the community’s children in need to have an extra special holiday season” said Addy Sea Innkeeper, Andrew Turczyn.
