NEWARK, DE — November 18, 2025 — The next chapter of Delaware’s favorite eatertainment destination is officially underway. Lefty’s Alley & Eats has completed exterior construction on its highly anticipated Newark location at The Grove and has begun interior build-out on its new 55,000-square-foot venue — set to open June 2026.

Building on the success of its flagship Lewes location, Lefty’s Newark will bring its signature blend of interactive play, chef-driven dining, and social energy to northern Delaware, just minutes from the University of Delaware.

Located within The Grove, an $80 million lifestyle redevelopment in the heart of Newark, Lefty’s will anchor the center with an experience unlike anything else in the region. The new venue will feature:

Rooted in Community

Lefty’s Newark will continue the brand’s strong focus on community partnerships, working with local schools, nonprofits, small businesses, and the University of Delaware. The company also plans to expand its successful fundraising programs and community-driven events to support northern Delaware organizations.
