Delaware Police Memorial Golf Fundraiser

Description of Event: A golf tournament, (open cart) followed by dinner reception, awards, silent auction and a $5000-50/50 raffle. Delaware is one of the few states that does not have a Memorial Monument for Law Enforcement. After the death of Officer Chad Spicer, the state has approved a Law Enforcement Memorial be placed on the lawn of the state capitol in Dover. This is a fund raiser to make that happen. A 501C3 has been set up for tax deductible donations.

Since the town uses the grounds and facilities of St. Ann’s Church and the Christian Church Conference Center to assemble our parade, it precludes them from using those grounds on the 4th of July in 2010.
